ive been saving up for a tatt since everything i want is big and expensive
do you think i could maybe work out a deal and do art for the shop for a free or discounted tattoo?oh and whos the best artist for realism?
I don't know if he'd be interested in do any deals like that. I've never really known him to. I just got lucky because he was opening this shop and wanted some photos and I just happened to be deep into photography I was able to work it into a deal and get some ink out of it. Honestly though, if the tattoos you're wanting involve realism, these aren't the dudes to go to anyways. Mikey is really good, but he strictly specializes in old school traditional style stuff. He stays insanely busy just doing that, and since its what he loves, he doesn't do anything else. He's kind of a dick about it. Like, when I wanted to get the Obey Giant star on my elbow, I had to go to someone else. Even though he digs Shepard Fairey's art, he has no interest in tattooing shit like that.
For realistic tattoo's, I'd recommend Tony at Lady Luck Tattoo Gallery. He's going to do a portrait of Salvidor Dali on my left forearm for me. Here is a link for him: [link]
